Nike warning labels coming?

Yet another frivolous lawsuit from a scumbag.

A 26-year-old Oregon ‘pimp’ has filed a $100 million lawsuit against Nike for failing to provide a warning that their shoes could be used as a weapon. In June 2012, while wearing a pair of Nike shoes, Sirgiorgio Sanford Clardy brutally stomped the face of a man who refused to pay one of Clardy’s prostitutes.

Frivolous lawsuits do nothing but slow down the legal system while costing tax payers money. Personally, I think that the lawyer who files a lawsuit that is deemed "frivolous" should be held responsible for court costs and any other fees if the lawsuit is thrown out. Any thoughts?
I seem to recall, reading about this a few days ago, that the "pimp" received, and is now serving, a 100 year prison sentence, and filed this lawsuit on his own, without lawyers.

I think people who blame lawyers for this, when no lawyers were involved, should apologize.

forkush- You should have stopped at "I think"- obviously that statement coming from you is "ironic".

I know exactly what you mean. I think taxpayers should be reimbursed all those lawsuits/house hearings that chased after right wing conspiracy theories like:
- the presidents birth certificate
- the Fast and Furious circus
- the great Bengazhi non-coverup
- the IRS targeting political opponents of Obama
- the unconstitutional health care law

A lot of taxpayers are kooks and support those lawsuits. It's called democracy. It's the good advice that you just didn't take.
