"A Facebook rumor circulating about snakes biting patrons at Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem is untrue, a casino spokeswoman and Pennsylvania State Police said today.
Sands Bethlehem, owned by Las Vegas Sands Corp., issued a statement today saying, 'There have been no reported incidents of snakes on our property. We do not allow any animals on property with the exception of service animals.'"

For the record: Over 40 years ago to pay college expenses young DonDiego worked summers for The Bethlehem Steel Company at what is now the site of the Sands Bethlehem. DonDiego encountered no snakes around the blast furnaces, rolling mills, or ore-unloading railroad trestles either.
