I am an attorney, and I had no doubt she would be found not guilty.
The prosecutors simply did not prove their case. She may be a lying slut, but that does not make her guilty of first-degree murder.
If the State of Florida hadn't so stubbornly persisted in pursuing this as a death penalty case and offered her a plea bargain to a lesser-included, but still serious offense (such as aggravated child abuse, or neglect of a dependent resulting in death), I'm sure she would have taken the plea and would have received some serious jail time. As it is, the prosecution decided to double-down, and lost it all.
