I woke up one day with a frozen shoulder, couldn't extend my arm backwards. Rotator cuff impairment. "Everyone" (co-workers, friends) said I'd need surgery. Doc sent me to rehab first. The rehab sessions were torture, cried big tears while the guy worked on me. I also was religious doing the home exercises, cried big tears while I did them. Therapist was impressed at my progress, and in about 2 months normal function had returned, no surgery needed.

Slot machine injury?

Have the lawyers started flooding your mailbox yet?

According to the doctor, my break is in 2 pieces with the smaller being the issue. He said my knee will be stiff as there isn't much there to attach on to. I don't have all the facts as they just did the "yep its broke and we have to operate on you thingy." The doc said the first 3 weeks no rehab and then it starts. Nice thing if I can drive, is we have a stationary bike at work that will help with the rehab and drop a few dozen pounds at the same time.

Interesting tidbit, the doctor and one of the interns (i had 3) had seen the accident after I was taken to the hospital.

Blade, no lawyers yet. Although I did see an ad on tv for one about auto accidents.

I go in tomorrow for a blood test and an EKG. I should find out more at that time.

Good thing is the car has been totaled and I will get a rather tidy check. The loss of work/pain and suffering bit will likely come later.
