Reminds me of a situation in Memphis last year, a lady had been missing and at the time she was living in a dive motel no one checked her room six weeks later another renter smelled something fonky and her body was in the bed frame.

Things like this would never happen in Downtown Vegas.

This is why I never snorkel or use swim goggles in a pool.

My guess is the story that "family members" told the police about the 9 y.o. reporting her missing to the lifeguard is bogus. Wouldn't be surprised if they made up the story to cover up a murder followed by body dump that Tuesday night. NO WAY would you not see her in 10ft of water for over 2 days.

True story, my wife's neighbor goes missing. Cops are called. Cops search the house. Can't find her. Family comes over and finds the neighbor hung in the basement. Cops missed it. But, in a messy basement it's plausible. But, a pool? Them things are usually pretty easy to search if you know you're looking for someone.
