NYNY Rollercoaster

The coaster at Primm has posted operating hours but they are more of a suggestion than reality. Last time I was there, it was one o'clock on a Friday. I was told the attendant was on lunch which seemed strange as it only opened at noon. At 2 O'clock, still closed. Security guy called someone on the radio, said they were opening in about 15 minutes. Came back at three. Still closed. Went to the casino hosts office and complained. Woman who said she was the on duty casino supervisor walked over there with me, called someone on a house phone and they opened it up for us. As no one was selling tickets, it was free.
It's much better than NYNY, and from South Point might be more convenient. No parking fees or hassles. Stop by Seven Magic Mountains on the way back.

When are you driving by?
Copied and Pasted from Buffalo Bill's website:

Friday & Saturday, 12pm - 9:30pm
Sunday, 12pm - 7:30pm
Monday – Thursday, Closed

Usually going through at 3 to 4 pm. It could be that many times it is Monday to Thursday.

South Point to Buffalo Bills is 32 miles. That is a good ways to travel for just a roller coaster.

Good Gawd, an all day pass?? JM had it right, I think traction may be needed after just a few rides. We did it at night and it beat the crap out of us. definitely in the top three roughest rides and we are coaster nuts and have ridden most up and down the East coast, from tip of Ohio to Fla.

Its about a half hour door to door. Its not going to be any less getting from SP to NYNY, parking and getting to the coaster. Plus, the parking is free. SP is great because it's easy on, easy off the 15, and parking at Buffalo Bills is a pleasure compared to NYNY. Plus the coaster itself is a brazillion times better. One of the few coasters that put some fear in me. I kept waiting for something exciting to happen in NYNY and the ride was over. Felt like I'd just gotten a pelican job.

You can't make it from South Point to NYNY in less than a half hour? I find that very hard to believe.
Including getting to the garage, parking and getting into the casino? Maybe. perhaps. What do you think ? 28 minutes? It took me at least twenty minutes today to go from South Point to the LVA office.
I'm just offering alternatives.
I'm guessing he hasn't been to the Seven Magic Mountains, the town of Goodsprings or the Pioneer Saloon.
I've done the roller coaster at NYNY.

I don't like roller coasters anyhow.

I'm asking because my daughter and her boyfriend want to do it. Saturday is when we are spending all day on the strip....will go first thing in the morning

Poor old DonDiego is unfamiliar with this term. From the context, he presumes it is unpleasant.

It's a bit of an inside NY joke. Tourist approaches a working girl and they end up in an alley.
Girl pulls his pants down around his ankles and gets cash up front for a sex act. Girl takes off, running with his money and maybe his wallet. The guy waddles after her, restricted by his pants being around his ankles.
Midtown slang for not getting your money's worth.
