Obama in Vegas Friday, huh.....

The question was, where in the constitution does it say that if congress doesn't pass the law the president wants, the president can write his own law?
Your answer was Ronald Reagan

That isn't an answer

Oh, but it is, Hoops! Because Reagan and Bush Sr both issued the same executive order. I understand that you struggle with the definition between "written law" and "executive order" .. I could help you with that but I suspect you wouldn't want to pay my tutoring rates. But, good news! I bet you can find a nice 11th grade kid in your neighborhood that might be willing to help you out with basic questions about Constitutional powers. It might help you understand why the premise of your question isn't only false but ridiculously false.

Good luck, Hoops! And remember - knowledge is power!
The rule of law within the United States relies on a 3 legged stool...........Judicial, Congressional, and Executive. Obama is chopping two of these legs off.

Until adults gain control, we have anarchy.

Well, the chickens are coming home to roost !

President Obama will make a prime time address to the U.S. populace Thursday night, announcing his executive actions on immigration reform.

I do believe the visit to Las Vegas is related to this. Not sure if the Thursday night address will come from Vegas or D.C.

Look for the usual suspects.....Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Huckabee, etc... to show mock outrage and foam at the mouth. Also hope to see the Marlboro Man (Boehner) to shed a crocodile tear or two.

Also am hoping for a meltdown from the right wing cashews here on the FFA !

I don't remember any other president who has gone to Vegas so much. I wonder where he stays?

Maybe at the Shady Lady before they close?
