What is the Texas Guard monitoring the Federal exercise for? And what questions can they answer the feds can't answer themselves? According to ted Cruz, Louis Gohmert, and inbred town hallers the concerns are about the Federal Military abusing citizens rights.
According to Alanleroy the monitoring is to keep citizens livestock safe from being run over by a tank....or something.....

PJ, it's time I explained something to you about alanleroy. He is an "Independent" - meaning that he is an embarrassed Republican.
I am sure alanleroy doesn't identify with the mainstream Republicans who cite Jesus every time they want to limit the rights of women and gays and dopers. And he probably doesn't want to destroy the full faith and credit of the United States over ideology, like a lot of Republicans. And even he probably doesn't defend attacking Shia Iraqis over an attack on American soil by Sunni Saudis.
But to prove that he is the bestest ever political thinker, alanleroy needs to attack BOTH sides equally for being too extreme. And unfortunately for him, on the left he's got a Democratic president who supports George W. Bush's immigration policy, Governor Mitt Romney's health care plan, Ronald Reagan on assault rifles and open carry, and (apparently) Grover Cleveland on limiting executive orders. Not to much extreme to go after there, huh?
So that's why he tries to normalize the obviously extremist positions of the right. You know, the extremist idea that state troops should monitor federal troops. And now for the first time in history, "monitor" now means *facilitate communication* - per alanleroy.
But PJ, you probably already knew all that.
