Yep, I trust them. It looks like the average premium increase for a 40 year old non-smoker before tax credits is around $30 per month.

And that means the average Obamacare premium increase for 2014-2017 will have been 4% per year. Maybe someone here would like to tell me what the average health insurance premium hikes were before Obamacare. But hoops, I bet you don't want to do that, do you?

DonDiego supposes she remains more well known.

There was (is?) some controversy over the credentials of "Joe the Plumber"; it seems he did not possess a plumber's license, and in Ohio one is simply not a plumber unless he possesses a license to plumb.
Nonetheless, he did get The Obama to actually state something unequivocally, a rare feat, . . . specifically: " . . . I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."
[DonDiego opines The Obama was not considering the well-being of those from whom the wealth was being spread.]

The Obamaphone Lady definitely had (has?) an Obamaphone.
Her more recent comments regarding ". . . them things they put on kids’ leg and they look through the TV" may result in questions concerning her ability to comprehend the real world.
[DonDiego opines this just makes her a more interesting human being.]

That works out to a 5 yr cumulative increase of over 20%. We were promised a $2,500 cut. That means rates are about 30% higher than promised.

In Republican low-taxes-for-the-wealthy states like Texas, the middle class can pay four times the TOTAL state and local tax RATE compared with the top 1%. That's income redistribution. And class warfare.

And open trade pacts with countries like China redistribute income upward. Just ask Donald Trump.

And reducing the capital gains tax rate to zero on inherited assets. And the Fed being more concerned with inflation than with wage stagnation. And having laws that allow businessmen like Mitt Romney and Donald Trump to enrich themselves while declaring multiple bankruptcies.

You may have reasons to support some or all of the above, but you can't deny that they all redistribute income upward. Just look at 1980 to present. The game is rigged.

We can't and don't pay governmental expenses with a percentage, but instead these expenses must be with dollars. In Forkie's warped world, the rich guy paying $2 million per year in taxes isn't paying his fair share. Since Boiler believes that every able bodied American should pay his own way, this rich guy is paying far more than his "fair share" in taxes.

Forkie expects that the expenses of able bodied lazy people be paid by others.
