Nothing! It's money that insurance companies have to refund when they overcharge.

Thanks Obama!

Obamacare's computer system cost $2b of our tax dollars. Thanks obama

Heck, Oregon's 'Obamacare Computer System' cost over 300 Million of tax dollars and it was completely scrapped.

And...If Blue Cross was overcharging California customers per the law, it's little wonder we're seeing such small 2016 California Exchange increases. Did they calculate the approved 4% 2016 increase on the original Policy Amounts or the amounts after this Blue Cross Refund? Inquiring minds want to know.

As was Md.'s, I think they hit 330mil before throwing in the towel.

Wrong!!!

Do you think that money will be returned with no overhead what so ever? No directives will have to be put out? The insurance companies will not have to be TOLD to do it? There will be no fees involved?

It cost money to do anything and anything involving the government cost even more. This will only further increase the operating cost of the program.

Not to mention postage, envelops, checks, and the labor to process over 400,000 refund checks....but that's OPM so it doesn't count.

refunding consumers will be a financial apocolypse because...ah...postage and envelopes. Wow. Just wow.

Sorry, I misread your comment, and for some reason I though you were referring to it as a cost to the consumers or the government.

So to revise my errant comment, as to the question how much will it cost to return the overcharged premiums: Who gives a shit? The insurance company that made the overcharge is footing the bill.

Thanks Obama!

No one said it's going to be a 'financial apocolypse' [sic]...but someone said it won't cost anything. I guess you think it's all free and money grows on trees too.

No they're not. They never do. All cost are passed on to the consumer, always.

Isn't it nice that forkush keeps thanking his Daddy - while lying about the truth concerning the refunding of these overcharges? The apple has not fallen far from the tree, both of them are proven liars.

While the POTUS lies (he is a politician) I have never seen Forky outright lie. Mis-construe and stretch, maybe.

The overcharges ARE being refunded. The individual could care less in the short term but it will cost everyone in the long term.

Thanking Obama does seem a little ridiculous. Perhaps some people are getting what they want, the problem is they are getting what they want. And it WILL backfire. Socialistic practices never work. They never have, not once in the history of the world. And they never will.
