Obamacare Rates Increasing, . . . no,really ! They really are.

One of the major reasons for passing this thru is it "was going to bring cost down" and "give everyone the chance to have healthcare".

I have not spoken to anyone that has seen their cost coming down. Unless you think a 19% increase followed with a 23% increase this year is a "good thing".

But I guess when your speaker states we need to "pass this so we can see what is in it" is probably not a good thing for the working man and woman!

As long as you start with the premise that you have to guarantee perpetual profits to insurance companies to shuffle paperwork you are never going to have a working health care system. All Obamacare did was push the clock back a couple of years now we are back to 20% a year rate increases and shrinking market of competition because mergers. Cast aside the vestige of private insurance like the rest of the civilized world has and you will have a functioning health care system. It is madness to make employers provide health care for their workers and force other people to buy polices from these thieves.

One more time. We are the 2nd fattest country on earth. The fattest country on earth has sent 30 million of their residents here illegally. Stand behind a Mexican in the 99 cent store and you will see them buying a bunch of candy and other unhealthy foods. We can't afford to insure all the unhealthy Americans and Mexicans when there is no accountability. Malibber whines incessantly about his health. I didn't and nobody else caused his health problems but him. Malibber, and people like him, are like the farmer that doesn't plant his crops on time and when he has nothing to harvest complains to the government that they should take crops from the responsible farmers and give to him. 30-40-50 years of unhealthy eating and little exercise yields severe health problems. You will reap what you sow and you don't have the right to take from those that have been responsible to cover for your bad decisions in life.

Sometimes health problems are just the luck of the draw. You don't know what caused his issues. But I will say that people who are obese should pay double for health insurance and quadruple if they smoke and triple that if they won't sign an advanced life directive.
