I guess that makes you a credulous nitwit who believes anything in his inbox that coincides with his prejudices.....times two!

Who do you think actually pays for the medical costs of uninsured illegal immigrants? The Medicaid Fairy? Or do they not have any medical expenses? Or do they just write a check for that $10,000 visit to the Emergency room or the $20,000 baby delivery?

Why, yes, Yes, . . . it is the Medicaid Fairy.

Let me understand something....the people on this thread complaining about uninsured emergency room care are also the loudest critics of Obamacare which has reduced that population to its lowest levels in history? How rich ! Have a great Sunday, everybody!

And even though the uninsured population is so low as PJ touts, we have more people using Emergency Rooms as their primary medical care than ever before...

Emergency room visits up, despite Obamacare

"Too many Americans get care in emergency rooms instead of doctors offices — and expanded health coverage is making the problem worse rather than fixing it"

"How Rich!".
And insured emergency room visits have a payment mechanism unlike uninsured visits, right?

Oh there is a payment mechanism for subsidized insured people using the emergency room like a doctor's office and uninsured people using the emergency room like a doctor's office....and uninsured people here illegally using all kinds of healthcare services.

You got that right...and that payment mechNism contrasts from the one before Obamacare by virtue of
- reducing the deficit
- reducing premium inflation
- and adding millions more people to healthcare access
Once again a liberal brags about reducing premium inflation (although it appears that rates are going up pretty fast), but we were promised premiums would go down.

Pj the self proclaimed obamacare expert, had for years said that obamacare would reduce emergency room visits.

While the deficit has come down recently, projections are for $1t deficits to resume.

1. There is no evidence the ACA has reduced the US deficit. It's more likely the sequester no one wanted forced deficit reduction. How rich.
2. There is no evidence the ACA is responsible for reducing premium inflation. Most economists attribute slower growth of medical costs to the Great Recession since those costs started tapering downward well before the ACA went into effect.
3. Those people had access before. They used the Emergency Rooms. If the article I linked is right, that problem is worse. Yippee. Way to not solve the problem.

And what about the billions that went into the Federal and State exchanges? Where are those costs accounted for? And do any of the estimates of ACA costs take into account the billions of dollars of additional burdens on Business and the IRS? Like for instance...the new 1095 C form that has to be submitted annually for each employee like a W2 for Healthcare. And what is the IRS really going to do with these 10s of millions of forms? More red tape. I guess that's all free too....just like healthcare for illegal immigrants. Free Lunches for All! A chicken in every pot!
