Obamacare Update

PJ loves to quote CBO. One must understand, however, that the CBO simply takes a bunch a parameters that they are given, and with those assumptions the CBO generates data. If the assumed parameters are bull shit, then the data is bull shit..............and it was in this case

Everyone, including PJ, knew that the CBO forecasts for Obamacare was bull shit, but he didn't care. He and others wanted the law to pass, literally, at any cost.

I remember a few on here that kept citing the CBO projections as almost gospel but of course they were way...way off(as projected by a few on here). You're correct, TMF isn't biased in any way or at least I've never sensed that and I've read a lot of Motley fool articles, my mom even bought me one of their books.

Motely Fool is a financial services company, and there is an agenda in every article they write. Would you put great stock an article written by Ford Motor Company about what cars are best?

It shouldn't surprise anyone that our resident FOx News crowd doesn't listen to bipartisan economists to measure costs....they also dont listn to climate scientists on climate science....and they dont listen to disease control experts on Ebola.....and they dont listen to foreign policy experts on the merits of carpet bombing and torture.

But facts are stubborn things. Nevermind Obamacare has given access to healthcare to 19 million more people ...and cut the Medicare donut hole....and lets college students stay on their parents plans....and makes it illegal for a sick person to be discriminated against.....it also reduces the defict.

repealing Obamacare is a costly endeavor

Something to keep in mind when the guy who warned us of airborne Ebola now warns us about the unbearable costs of Obamacare
As Boiler accurately pointed out and PJ was nice enough to confirm, PJ wanted Obamacare to pass regardless of the cost. Now PJ hopes to see the entirety of the cost transfer to others. Boiler accurately predicted that Obamacare would end up as a wealth redistribution program, while PJ and others argued that it would not. Boiler has been proven correct once again.

PJ, about ten times I've posted links about World Famous Purdue infectious disease scientist who proposed his concerns of airborne Ebola. Each time PJ has refused to address this man's credentials. I won't bother to link his accomplishments since you continue to dodge, dodge, dodge. I would, however, be interested to hear why PJ believes this World renowned scientist is stupid.................even though this man has confirmed airborne Ebola infections is the lab?

Many people have been showing that obamacare is sinking. DD & Campion show current analysis & the best pj can dig up is almost a year old.

I didn't put that article up with any sort of agenda, I leave to you guys to argue about all of that. But no, I don't think that TMF would be biased in this matter.

It's a tough audience.

I used to be a fan of the Fool. I even subscribed to a couple of their services a decade or more ago. I never noticed a bias, but they were way off base a a number of times. I think they got too big and lost their mojo. I didn't renew my membership and wouldn't take any article as gospel.

All I was saying they don't have any bias, I thought it was obvious we were referring to not biased politically. I never follow any single source when it comes to buying a stock. The book my mpom got me was a how-to things about investing and it was pretty helpful, mostly about long term investing.
Billy, how about you Google Fool and see what their business is. You won't find that there a journalistic outfit, but instead a financial institution. A low life financial institution that writes articles to sway the public. You've been scammed.
