If your mom is paying more than $2850 for her medications this year then Barry is paying for the rest. and that out of pocket amount reduces each year until vanishing completely in 2020.

You can compare that to the $4500 she would pay out of pocket with Obamacare repealed.

I presume you can do the math.

Sorry, seems that prescription drug benefit enacted by that guy Obama keeps blaming took care of a good deal of savings.

I so wonder how Obama will continue to fund this plan as the overall population ages and there are not enough healthy people to pay for the coverage? What's a 29 year old paying for premiums next year in every state?

Update - Republicans have been hard at work on this issue. In the event the Supreme Court throws a wrench in Obamacare Republicans are ready to pounce with their long awaited alternative.

They are going to reinstate Obamacare "subsidies" - except they are going to call them "tax breaks".

OK then !

So much crying about government takeovers and death panels could have all been avoided if Obama simply called his handouts by the correct name.

Um, no.

You don't know what "expressly" means. The word you were searching for is the opposite word. The antonym of "expressly." That word is "implictly".

Your whole case, the case that lost so spectacularly at the Supreme Court today, was that Obamacare implictly denies subsidies to persons who purchased insurance via the federal exchange. That by granting subsidies to persons who obtained insurance in the exchanges "established by the state", that Congress implictly denied them to the people who purchased insurance through the federal exchange.

Sheesh. Funny to see someone who demands such legal fealty to the English language not know how to use a simple word.
