I'm sure that your definition of "intelligent conversation" is conversing with people who think EXACTLY like yourself. You don't seem to be tolerant of anyone with a different point of view but that doesn't surprise me. You are much quicker than Malibber or Chilcoot to have a hissy fit when someone has a conservative point of view.
