October Hotel Prices

Wow! I was planning a trip to Vegas over the weekend of 16 -18 of October. I was amazed at how high the room rates are for that weekend, both the strip and downtown. I checked the calendar of events and couldn't find any large conventions. Is there a major sporting event scheduled for that weekend? Very curious.

Saturday night, $139
Sunday night. $59.

That's quite typical.

There is a gun show, but I couldn't find anything that is really big.

I was hoping to book Paris the last week of Sept but they are sold out! I though it would be easy to get my usual weekday comp. After searching my offers I did find a comped Jubilee Tower room. What is going on here!!!

I find I get more comped rooms if I don't put an offer code in. My next visit I had an offer for 25 slot dollars and had to pay for rooms when I removed it i got a comped 850 st ft junior suite at Ballys or a red room at Paris. I also find different rates on how I enter the system, sometimes I even get better rates when I call. CET web site is is seriously flawed.

Week end rates are typically triple the week day rates,all of the time.
Even during the sweltering temps.
The conventions DO affect room rates,if you can find one.
I like going in October,too.
There a few convention times to avoid.
I forget to check those FIRST. DOOOGH!
Pleasant weather is my favorite time to go.
