Ode to Wisconsin

I think this has been posted before, but with a lovely (NOT!!!) -22 this morning, it came to mind...

Ode to Wisconsin

It's winter in Wisconsin
And the gentle breezes blow,
70 miles per hour at 52 below!
Oh, how I love Wisconsin
When the snow's up to your butt;
You take a breath of winter air
And your nose is frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful,
You may think that I'm a fool.
I could never leave Wisconsin,
Cause I'm frozen to the stool.

It's been a few good months for Wisconsin. Won a Super Bowl. Lost Feingold. Elected a Governor and Legislature that can actually do math.
Pretty good folks.
This describes Oklahoma (!) as well this morning.
...but Oklahoma is colder than Wisconsin --- or the South Pole.

It was only -5 in Waukesha this morning. -28 is really brutal.

...just a tad warmer in Cottage Grove/Madison this morning...
