OH sure this will work

Just read on home page where the Nevada legislators have a proposal to increase the slot fees levied against the machines of almost 65%. Yes casino will fight it but in the long run they will lose and simply pass on the increase to players. All those years when Nevada was going wild with tax revenues coming out their ears not once did they offer ot return any of it. times are bad so punch the people who produce the revenues the hardest.

Hey Forkie, want to tell your friends to find a different way to pay for their social programs other than nailing the little guy. Yea, tax the rich, look how well it works. It Doesn't!!!!
You can tax the rich, tax the poor and everyone in between. Until government learns how do deal with the revenue it receives, stops balooning in size for nom reason and quits paying $20 for a bolt that's worth two bits, we have no chance. There's no single answer, it's a collective.

Good Luck!

Maybe they should implement a "Win" tax on every W2G issued. Take it out before paying the winner.

Yeah, that could be popular.

There are still people out there that believe the government is honest and fair and still working for the people!

They should call it a paper tax. That way they only charge folks who receive paper. Since W-2G's are on paper, only folks with them get charged.
Fixed it for you

Nevada has the same budget problems the other 49 states have. Fortunately, Nevada is in a position to have non-residents pay for the budget shortfall. You could certainly change that if you like...see how popular instituting a state income tax would be in NV.

Somebody has to pay for NV's world class schools, hospitals, and park districts
Do you hear that gagging sound? That is the Nevada legislature choking the life out of the Golden Goose that built Vegas.

I second you on that Drmilled. I wonder how the struggling casinos will manage to still keep afloat when this come into effect.
