Okay, who on this board hasn't taken down their tree or Christmas lights?

No lights, no tree. Filled the house with poinsettias. And they are still pretty! Easy to toss when they wilt.

Next year when I'm retired I will feel like doing a tree again.
We had some nice ( 45 degree ) weather 3 or 4 days after Christmas and I got all the big pieces down and put away. Also, all the wiring, extension cords, etc. are packed up til next year also. However, since then its been either rain, snow, or below zero temps so all the lighting outlining doors, windows, outbuildings, etc is still up. If it doesn't rain this weekend is it baby!
We put our tree up the day after Thanksgiving and take it down on New Years
All the decorations/ornaments boxed up and taken downstairs, but not stored yet and tree is disassembled and laying on the living room floor. We had an issue with a section of the tree that quit lighting up and trying to figure it out. If I can't get it to light,I think I'm gonna have to toss it. That thing wasn't cheap and not very old, 3 or 4 years I think. Drag.

Ah well, it was a great Christmas anyway except for our new pup going into her first heat when we were driving to visit family. Had to stop at and get a pack of pull ups to put on her, what a mess that was and still is. :<; I'm shocked she's keeping them on.

House of Blade: All down on New Years.

Guilty! Have a small artificial tree with figurines surrounding it. However, I don't put it up.....so I don't take it down!
Usually tree is down by now. Took decorations off today and are boxed. Artificial tree still up with lights. Husband is suppose to take tree down tomorrow, so will enjoy tree one more night.
I cheat...I take the decorations off...but leave the lights on...then stuff the tree in the garage intact.
The lazy person's way of doing it.....lol.
No tree no decorations celebrated in Vegas.
