Olympics Withdrawal

Oh yeah, back to the original question. I am not having withdrawals at all. I gave up trying to watch because NBC was doing such a horrible job.

One night when the press broke down they discovered that every third or fourth McDonalds ad had a winning scratch off coupon for free food. By the time the press started back up they had a huge stack of free food coupons. We ate there every day for months and never paid a penny. I know, I was totally unethical and creepy but I was just a teenager. What teenager isn't unethical and creepy?

Some of us never outgrow that awkward unethical and creepy phase.

I agree at times, NBC's negative commentary was annoying, however, I enjoyed watching the athletes accomplish their dreams. Gabby Douglas was adorable and all grown up on Jay Leno last night.
I am having Men's Diving withdrawals.

I am having Women's Beach Volleyball withdrawals.

Thank goodness for Internet pictures.
Am not having "Olympics Withdrawal" ......... didn't watch it, could care less about it,

............ besides it's now "Shark Week" !!!!!

Olympic sports that need to go in no particular order:

1) Any sport that involves a horse
2) Team handball - looks like something a gym teacher made up
3) Racewalking as well as the marathon (will never happen). What drama of watching people run/walk for miles and hours. In NYC we call racewalking - the rush hour
4) badminton
5) ping pong - if it is played in a basement it needs to go
6) synchronzied swimming - unless you have a foot fetish (that's all you see) the whole thing takes place under water
7) This one I don't know what they call it but they had people dancing and rolling a ball on their bodies
8) Do they still have the competition where women dance around waving what looks like small banners.

Please feel free to add to the list

#7 = rhythmic gymnastics. . . a SPECTACULAR Sport
#8 is also part of the "sport" of rhythmic gymnastics. They also use a hula hoop at one point
Take equestrian out of the Olympics? No way.
It is only one of two sports that men and women compete against each other.
