On the Fly

Anyone seen the new show on Thurs, by SW airlines? Seems like it is close to their older show Airline.
I had to laugh and go gross, to the boease lady who "might have pee'd my pants" on the preview I saw.
I watched and still can't figure out how that woman in the airport kept missing her flights.
I liked the lady that was flying non-rev with a buddy pass that was acquired from a friend of a friend that started being rude. Nice way to show her appreciation for a free flight.
What channel?

I haven't seen the new one, but I did watch the old one.

Dealing with the public can be a pain in the ass. In today's horrible climate of flying, you can multiply that pain by 10 for the airline industry. Everybody is pissed off at waiting in long lines, including check in and TSA.

I can understand where Southwest agreed to show episodes where they didn't allow people on the aircraft due to being drunk or due to smelling too much, but I can't believe where they would show episodes where they bumped people from overbooked flights. Almost always these bumped people had a wedding or some other event to attend and there was no other flight leaving that day.

They also had one episode on lost baggage. I've been in the baggage claim place before, and it can't be a fun job. That person who writes the claims for lost luggage isn't responsible for it being lost, but he has to bear the full brunt of the passenger's anger.

Southwest still does it better than most airlines.

It's on TLC.
They make reality shows for every line of work now, it seems. Whats next? Maybe they give us an hour each week with some dude who mows lawns for a living?
I've got one cooking on the burner. Waiting for some paperwork to come back from a few legal places to start the next step. I've talked to a few people, that I know won't steal my idea, and they think it's a pretty good idea for a show.

Hey, it can't be as bad as some of the junk that makes it on the air.

"Lawn Stars"... filmed at a lawnmower shop in Vegas where people bid on mowing backyards they can't see from the front of the house
