Thanks everyone for all the well wishes. I was going to stay at the Venetian till they pulled my comps.

Just kidding at that. I am staying at the Four Queens. Booked my trip back in October and got a package deal with US Airways and for both me and my Mom total price was 600 bucks for 5 nights. Never stayed at the Queens so hopefully it will be okay.

I think you will like the 4 Queens. I believe you'll want a room on the North tower, less noise from the FSE. You have a coffee pot in the room (ask for extra coffee if needed), in room safe between the beds, and its a central area for downtown. The elevators are located about 30 feet from the check in desk, right near 3 Monolopy slots. Drinks will be less downtown than on the strip. Across the street is Freemont casino and inside is Tony Roma's, a nice BBQ place. Although bring a light source as its a tad dark in there.

Thanks Tony for the info. I have pretty much stayed at the main places downtown such as the Nugget, Fremont and Fitzgerald's so I wanted to try the Queens plus it was actually cheaper than the Fitz when I booked. Only thing that sucks is i am going to miss the Daytona 500 as I normally go the last wek of February but this deal was too good to pass up.

The last time I played there those monopoly machines where pretty good to me as well as a Wheel of Fortune machine as well.

I turned 25 bucks in free play to around 200 bucks!

Plus I am itching to play my favorite machine over at the Cal and those STP machines over at the Fremont.

Another nice thing about 4 Queens is the bar that faces the FSE, nice place to people watch. You should be able to catch the race at one of the sports books. Although the Nugget would likely be the best place to watch it.
