Oops... (pol)

The issue really isn't his gaff (although that was classic).

The issue is he does not think the United States should have a department of energy. And yet that's the department he is going to be in charge of. Its kinda like putting an Amish person in charge of NASA....or making Chris Christie the CEO of Weight Watchers.
Trump is unwilling, at this point, to eliminate the energy department, but I'll bet that he wants to downsize it dramatically. Trump chose wisely, and hopefully this department is gone within Trumps first term.................along with the education department and many others.

What would boilermoron do with atomic energy? Leave it to each state to manage on its own? Does he even know what the DOE does?
ryan, we get it.....when you can't discuss, you insult. Enough already.

So what would your plan be? Turn Atomic Energy planning over to individual states? Remove the Federal Government from co-coordinating the traffic? Allow each state to make its own rules? Have fifty separate entities researching energy futures? If there is one agency I would think is vital to the country, its the Dept of Energy. Please tell me your vision for doing away with it?
The NRC would continue to monitor nuclear power.

So, . . . pjstroh favors employment discrimination based upon one's religion.

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits employers with at least 15 employees, as well as employment agencies and unions, from discriminating in employment based on race, color, religion, sex, and national origin.
__treating applicants or employees differently based on their religious beliefs or practices – or lack thereof – in any aspect of employment, including recruitment, hiring, assignments, discipline, promotion, and benefits (disparate treatment);
__subjecting employees to harassment because of their religious beliefs or practices – or lack thereof – or because of the religious practices or beliefs of people with whom they associate (e.g., relatives, friends, etc.);
__denying a requested reasonable accommodation of an applicant’s or employee’s sincerely held religious beliefs or practices – or lack thereof – if an accommodation will not impose more than a de minimis cost or burden on business operations

It is pretty funny.
Any chance Trump will appoint Dennis Rodman ambassador to North Korea?
