Good riddance to John Boehner, Speaker of the House of Representatives. Perhaps the modern day Marlboro Man will enjoy his retirement counting all his ill gotten gains.

The only negative item in his resignment speech is he is not leaving till the end of October. Halloween can't come quick enough.

I didn't like him much either, although, I suspect, for very different reasons.

He'll do what they all do. Get on the board of directors of many companies or work with a lobbying group. Or maybe he'll start a non-profit like the Clinton foundation. They never have enough money or power. "Public servants" my arse.
