Odd, isn't it?

Prove it. Are you including the 2996 killed on 9/11 or should we forget them? Even without those thousands I think you're wrong. Show us the numbers.
Haven't you figured out by now that I can always back up my claims. I never lie on this forum; the stakes are just way too low.

It's according to a 2015 report by a couple of experts in the area: "Charles Kurzman is a professor of sociology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. David Schanzer is director of the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security and Associate Professor of the Practice, Sanford School of Public Policy, Duke University.

The stats are from after 9/11 through late 2015. And yeah, the phrase "Bush kept us safe" started on 9/12/2001. Why not this?

What a crock of shit.

The article shows two wildly different numbers for those 'killed by right wing groups'. But lets use the numbers from the anti-defamation league since those numbers "rise to the level of attempted or actual domestic terrorism" which is what you are claiming ("Americans are still much more likely to be killed by right-wing terrorism that Islamic terrorism").

38 Murders by Right Wing Terrorists between 2001 and 2014.
50 Muslim Extremist Terrorist Murders between 2001 and 2015

Let's add in 9 for Charleston and 9 for Roseburg and 3 for Colorado Springs on the Right wing side for a total of 59.

Then let's add 14 for San Bernardino, 5 for Chattanooga an 49 for Orlando on the Muslim Extremist Terrorist side for a total of 118.

So based on the CURRENT facts, Americans actually have twice the chance of being killed by Muslim Extremist Terrorists than Right Wing Terrorists. If you don't completely forget about 9-11 then it's 52 times more deaths.

Law enforcement concerns about the sources of terrorism have changed pretty dramatically since San Bernardino and Orlando. And that part of the analysis is from 2013. It's woefully outdated and clearly wrong based on what's trending. Try to keep up with current events.

"Despite public anxiety about extremists inspired by Al Qaeda and the Islamic State, the number of violent plots by such individuals has remained very low, 50 fatalities over the past 13 and a half years. In contrast, right-wing extremists averaged 337 attacks per year in the decade after 9/11, causing a total of 254 fatalities..." - David Schanzer, director of the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security and Associate Professor of the Practice, Sanford School of Public Policy, Duke University, and Arie Perliger, professor at the United States Military Academy’s Combating Terrorism Center.

I'll just quote without comment and let the reader decide who to believe.
After the removal of the original Government censorship, this is the closest thing DonDiego can find to the actual telephone call which the Muslim Shooter made to 911:

[Beginning of call.]
Orlando Police Dispatcher (OD): Emergency 911, this is being recorded.
Shooter (OM): In the name of Allah the Merciful, the beneficial [in Arabic]
OD: What?
OM: Praise be to Allah, and prayers as well as peace be upon the prophet of Allah [in Arabic]. I let you know, I'm in Orlando and I did the shootings.
OD: What's your name?
OM: My name is I pledge of allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
OD: Ok, What's your name?
OM: I pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, may Allah protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of the Islamic State.
OD: Alright, where are you at?
OM: In Orlando.
OD: Where in Orlando?
[End of call.]

n.b. The Government still refuses to include the word "Allah" in its transcript.

Nonetheless, it seems it was a Radical Islamist after all.

Let me refresh your memory on what your claimed. "Americans are still much more likely to be killed by right-wing terrorism than Islamic terrorism".

Dude, the 254 fatalities referenced by Perliger were not all terrorist attacks....That's why I used the numbers from the Anti-Defamation League. That's why I called your link a crock of shit. That's why I specifically pointed out how your linked article used two wildly different statistics. Do you even read, Bro?

I guess the ability to read and do math and understand statistical comparisons is just one more thing that separates this Independent thinker from you political hacks. At least maybe you'll refrain from using these misleading statistics now that I've enlightened you on how outdated and deceptive it is....It would be dishonest otherwise....Ok...Never mind we'll let the readers decide.

Wait. That's your takeaway from this article?
Poor old DonDiego thanks friedmush for the opportunity to elaborate on DonDiego's observation.

The The Washington Post article does report that Omar Mir Seddique Mateen [recently deceased] did, indeed, support The Hillary in her campaign to assume the US Presidency:
"Omar and I [Mr. Mohammed A. Malik] continued to have infrequent conversations over the next few years. I last saw him at a dinner at his father’s house in January. We talked about the presidential election and debated our views of the candidates that were running – he liked Hillary Clinton and I liked Bernie Sanders. This banter continued through texts and phone calls for several months. My last conversation with Omar was by phone in mid-May. He called me while he was at the beach with his son to tell me about a vacation he’d taken with his father to Orlando the previous weekend. He’d been impressed by the local mosque."

DonDiego realizes that Mr. Mateen's support of The Hillary was likely not his ultimate goal. That would be the establishment of a worldwide Islamic Caliphate to rule over all persons upon the Earth. The Hillary was recognized only as an intermediate step toward that goal.

DonDiego leaves as an exercise for the reader any analysis as to whether life under a worldwide Islamic Caliphate would, in fact, be preferable to the present state of affairs.
When one considers that muslims account for less than 1% of the US population, they are much more likely to commit a terrorist attack. A survey in England showed that 4% of that population supports suicide bombers.

According to the FBI they have have over 1,000 ongoing terrorist investigations in all 50 states.

So far most terrorist attacks have been thwarted here in the US, with several hundred arrests. If the car bomb in NYC had gone off several years ago, the numbers would have been much higher.

When you factor in the arrests and the number of thwarted attacks, you realize how dangerous these people are

Yeah, I guess it is hard to link to something you heard from some mouth-breather on the AM radio.

But assuming what you say is true, why do Republicans still want to sell assault weapons to many of them?
