So, . . . here's the plan on how to protect the USA:
President Barack Obama has set a target of resettling 10,000 Syrian refugees by Sept. 30, 2016. Since October, 2015 1,000 Syrian refugees have moved to the U.S. from Jordan. [The plan is way behind schedule - DD]
"The 10,000 (figure) is a floor and not a ceiling, and it is possible to increase the number," Gina Kassem, the regional refugee coordinator at the U.S. Embassy in Amman, told reporters.
While the resettlement process usually takes 18 to 24 months, the surge operation will reduce the time to three months, Kassem said.

Wait a minute ! ! ! DonDiego doesn't think thats a good plan !
And that's not what The Obama said on 17 November 2015 while he was in the Phillipines:
"Understand, under current law, it takes anywhere from, on average, 18 to 24 months to clear a refugee to come into the United States. They are subjected to the most rigorous process conceivable. The intelligence community vets fully who they are. Biometrics are applied to determine whether they are, in fact, somebody who might threaten the United States. There is an entire apparatus of all of our law enforcement agencies and the center that we use for countering terrorism to check and ensure that a refugee is not admitted that might cause us harm."

Ah well, to clear a refugee takes . . . 18 months, 24 months, . . . 3 months, . . . . as The Hillary once said on another topic altogether: "What difference – at this point, what difference does it make?"
Speaking of The Hillary, . . .
On 20 September 2015 The Hillary was asked about the 10,000 Syrian refugees and responded:
"Look, we’re facing the worst refugee crisis since the end of World War II, and I think the United States has to do more, and I would like to see us move from what is a good start with 10,000, . . . to 65,000 and begin immediately to put into place the mechanisms for vetting the people that we would take in."

Poor, poor, old DonDiego. Here he thought The Obama told him there was an 18 to 24 month "rigorous process" for vetting potential immigrants already in place. The Hillary tells him the US needs to "put into place the mechanisms for vetting the people that we would take in." What the hell is going on here ? ? ?
