Orlando Nightclub Shooting Worst Mass Shooting In US History

So, . . . here's the plan on how to protect the USA:

President Barack Obama has set a target of resettling 10,000 Syrian refugees by Sept. 30, 2016. Since October, 2015 1,000 Syrian refugees have moved to the U.S. from Jordan. [The plan is way behind schedule - DD]
"The 10,000 (figure) is a floor and not a ceiling, and it is possible to increase the number," Gina Kassem, the regional refugee coordinator at the U.S. Embassy in Amman, told reporters.
While the resettlement process usually takes 18 to 24 months, the surge operation will reduce the time to three months, Kassem said.

Wait a minute ! ! ! DonDiego doesn't think thats a good plan !
And that's not what The Obama said on 17 November 2015 while he was in the Phillipines:

"Understand, under current law, it takes anywhere from, on average, 18 to 24 months to clear a refugee to come into the United States. They are subjected to the most rigorous process conceivable. The intelligence community vets fully who they are. Biometrics are applied to determine whether they are, in fact, somebody who might threaten the United States. There is an entire apparatus of all of our law enforcement agencies and the center that we use for countering terrorism to check and ensure that a refugee is not admitted that might cause us harm."

Ah well, to clear a refugee takes . . . 18 months, 24 months, . . . 3 months, . . . . as The Hillary once said on another topic altogether: "What difference – at this point, what difference does it make?"

Speaking of The Hillary, . . .
On 20 September 2015 The Hillary was asked about the 10,000 Syrian refugees and responded:
"Look, we’re facing the worst refugee crisis since the end of World War II, and I think the United States has to do more, and I would like to see us move from what is a good start with 10,000, . . . to 65,000 and begin immediately to put into place the mechanisms for vetting the people that we would take in."

Ah well, . . . 10,000, . . . 65,000, . . . as the Hillary once said on another topic altogether: "What difference – at this point, what difference does it make?"

Wait a minute ! ! ! Did The Hillary say: " the United States has to, . . . begin immediately to put into place the mechanisms for vetting the people that we would take in."

Poor, poor, old DonDiego. Here he thought The Obama told him there was an 18 to 24 month "rigorous process" for vetting potential immigrants already in place. The Hillary tells him the US needs to "put into place the mechanisms for vetting the people that we would take in." What the hell is going on here ? ? ?

Wait. That's your takeaway from this article?
Poor old DonDiego thanks friedmush for the opportunity to elaborate on DonDiego's observation.

The The Washington Post article does report that Omar Mir Seddique Mateen [recently deceased] did, indeed, support The Hillary in her campaign to assume the US Presidency:
"Omar and I [Mr. Mohammed A. Malik] continued to have infrequent conversations over the next few years. I last saw him at a dinner at his father’s house in January. We talked about the presidential election and debated our views of the candidates that were running – he liked Hillary Clinton and I liked Bernie Sanders. This banter continued through texts and phone calls for several months. My last conversation with Omar was by phone in mid-May. He called me while he was at the beach with his son to tell me about a vacation he’d taken with his father to Orlando the previous weekend. He’d been impressed by the local mosque."

DonDiego realizes that Mr. Mateen's support of The Hillary was likely not his ultimate goal. That would be the establishment of a worldwide Islamic Caliphate to rule over all persons upon the Earth. The Hillary was recognized only as an intermediate step toward that goal.

DonDiego leaves as an exercise for the reader any analysis as to whether life under a worldwide Islamic Caliphate would, in fact, be preferable to the present state of affairs.

Right. I'm no Hillary supporter. I just found it comical that you posted a link and selected information from the 14th paragraph.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has nearly 1,000 active probes involving the terrorist group Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) inside the United States, dozens of law enforcement officials disclose in a letterto President Obama

There were 3.3 million Muslims of all ages living in the United States in 2015, or about 1 percent of the total U.S. population, the Pew Research Center reports.

Gun bans didn't work in Europe

DonDiego is cool with that. He tries to be comical whenever he can, . . . lots of times by selecting just the right quote.

And DonDiego includes links pretty much whenever he can, so the reader can see the source.

Now I understand. The relevancy of Don Diego headers to links go something like this:

No, no, no. friedmush has it all wrong.

What one does is writes a post, lengthy or short - doesn't matter, and within that post one includes a statement from a lengthy article, . . . like "Panther running back Mike Tolbert rushes for 18 yards." Then one includes the link like: The New York Times
That is how one references a link to show the source of the statement.

And today he lives quietly on a remote ridge in Appalachia under an assumed name, . . . tending his garden, watching his investments grow, and traveling to NFL Football Stadia every Fall.

Life is good.
The idiots in this administration thought they could slap another false narrative on an Islamic terrorist attack. They tried to rewrite history in real time, like they did with "the attack was the result of an anti-Muslim internet video". Øbama doesn't seem to mind throwing black American women under the bus to further his support of radical Islam. Susan, and now Loretta...
Millions of Americans own guns but don't commit mass murder, but islamic terrorists do. While we are at it we should ban pressure cookers & since stabbings are up dramatically in NYC we should ban knives.
