O'Sheas Casino set to close on April 30! =(

Heard this on the radio and sad to see this place go! It was a fun little spot to play blackjack and craps! I will be visiting vegas in April to give this place another run before it goes! I knew it was coming sooner or later.

I heard that it is moving - don't know the new location though. Great place!

I read that some of the things like the Beer Pong games are being moved to the IP.

I've never thought much of O'Sheas - especially since Harrahs bought it years ago. It was one of those tired low limit joints full of smoke that I tried to avoid. The nearby Casino Royale was similar - but always had good gambling offers, making it worth the visit... but O'Sheas just never inspired me (personally). Saying that, there did used to be occasional good comedy and shows there. Sad for the staff - but not sad overall. Anything they put in its place must be better... surely?

It was what it was (is what it is ,for now) though a little too young for me it seemed like a fairly popular place with the twenty something crowd. However it has been many years since I stuck my head in for a look.
A young college age nephew always said it was one of his favorite places in Vegas to pick up girls. I guess they were drunk from beer pong.

I did just fine the one and only time I played poker there. Did not stay long, the "little person" came around trying to be funny in the middle of a pot. Wanted to see my hand. "F&*k Off" said I, won the pot, cashed out and left. Played almost an hour, had a "good seat" facing the sidewalk, and people watching was great. So I only played maybe 5 pots total, and won 4 of 'em. Would stayed longer except for that little guy.
