outrageous flight prices!

I believe over 30 million people fly annually to Vegas. With ticket prices at today's levels and rising daily, I expect to see a dramatic decrease in the number of passengers flying to Vegas. The airlines need to rethink their price gouging policies or they will end up like Vegas. I know for certain that the cost of airfare will lessen the number of future trips I will be taking to Vegas.

The airlines said it's not gouging. It was just very discounted before and you got used to it.
Check airfares on Tuesday or Wednesdays mornings. Last month my wife was able to book airfare on USAir roundtrip direct flight Philly/Vegas for $300.00 a person. Most times when she checked it was double the price. She checked a few days after we booked and prices were double the price again. Me thinks the majority of flights get booked on or in around weekend days and Airlines give a little leeway. We are leaving next Thursday 4/7. I hope my theory works..good luck!
I just checked airfare only on US Airways from Dallas to Las Vegas for September and they have roundtrip airfare for 214 plus tax.

The also have good prices on Vacation packages as well. My theory on why they are cheap is because Spirit Airlines is starting roundtrip service to Vegas in May.

I notice they have cheap airfare but they nickel and dime the hell out of you. 40 bucks to bring your bag on board. Jesus!
