They offer free rooms, take them or don't. They offer free meals, take them or don't. Free show's same thing.

They charge a Resort Fee, pay it or don't. They want $35 for a buffet. Pay it or don't. $100+ for a show, same thing.

What it comes down to is this. Look at your players card. Does the casino care more about the number on your card or your name on the card? The answer I come up with tells me where to spend my money.

Hey, I don't like what's happened in Vegas, but no one's holding a knife to anyone's throat. The Casinos want to gouge as much as possible, and the customer wants to get a trip for free or better. If one person tells me that they wouldn't maximize the price of their house if lucky enough to enjoy the rare bidding war, then I call bull shit.

Everyone's greedy, yet some expect others not to be.

You're just trying to take the fun out of bitching about things.

An early entry for post of the year.

The Downstream Casino On the OK/MO. line gives me the following: $115 a week free play Plus another $115 at it's sister casino.
random mailers once a week with another $20 to $275 free play.
Gas comp to fill my gas tank on every visit. average $35
comped rooms.
free food and beverage.
free concerts.
I do visit other casinos in the area. I get perks from them also, but the Downstream treats me the best. No panhandlers, street performers, water bottle pushers, and time share sales people. Never heard of a resort fee or paid parking. Have never seen a 6:5 Blackjack game here. Why go to Vegas???
Good question.
Do the casinos in OK still charge a fifty cents a hand ante?
Some do, some don't. I refuse to play where they have ante's. The ones I frequent, don't have ante's.
Wise choice.
Somehow I think the people watching in OK is not as good as LV.

depends on what you like to watch.

I have found OK to be about the same as downtown Vegas.
