the Paid Parking gouge..

I had to go to Oklahoma for work once. Miami. Travel agent said to stay in Missouri as the hotels in Oklahoma were not up to standard. We went to a bar in Oklahoma. What a different place that is from home. Guys were literally wearing cowboy hats. The bartender (female) said to me, "Y'all ain't from around here, are ya." She said in a mean way. The "cowboys" perked up. I said we're from New Jersey. She said, "Oh, Joisey, huh". I said, "um, Jersey.." She replied, "Like I said, 'Joisey'". The "cowboys" got a little closer and looked a might meaner. My co-worker said, "Man, we got to go! They gonna cause trouble." We beat a path to the door and high tailed it out of there.

We went to another bar. Guess they call it a roadhouse or something. Must have been 400 people there. They were too drunk and dancing and it was too loud for them to worry about our accents. Overall, Oklahoma had a lot of beautiful women. But not the friendliest place.

Guess they have both kinds of music there.
Elitist East Coast scum.
A priest, rabbi and elephant walk into a bar. Bartender asks, "Is this a joke?"

It probably is if you go to the Walmart.

random mailers once a week with another $20 to $275 free play.
Gas comp to fill my gas tank on every visit. average $35
comped rooms.
free food and beverage.
free concerts.
I do visit other casinos in the area. I get perks from them also, but the Downstream treats me the best. No panhandlers, street performers, water bottle pushers, and time share sales people. Never heard of a resort fee or paid parking. Have never seen a 6:5 Blackjack game here. Why go to Vegas???

We used to ride the bus down there from St. Louis a long time ago when they had the huge bingo games. $100 per person got you the ride down, bingo on Saturday night, your hotel room and then bingo again on Sunday. She used to get a full bus every weekend. Bingo's a lot different when your playing for $25,000 and $50,000 on some games. They offered me a job when they got the ok to open their little casino long before they built this one.

When I lived in Lauderdale, the weeks the Big Eight schools-Oklahoma,Nebraska and Kansas, came in for Spring Break produced some bodacious girl watching.
