come on people, sheldon is a great business man. he probably poked holes in the pool so that the conventioneers would spend less time at the pool and more time and money in the restaurants.

I'm thinking he wanted the extra drainage, and to save money by not putting in drain pipes. Those billionairs just love screwing over the unions.....

I don't doubt one bit that V/P skimped on this, but what does it look like under a pool that costs were not cut?
I tried a few searches, but could not come up with one.

In 1987, the Riviera built a pool on the rooftop and it started leaking water in to the casino. It was immediately shut down, never used and sits there abandoned to this day.
