Paris or Harrahs

Hello everyone,

I'm going back in September for my 2nd solo trip and will begin the trip at the Nugget for 5 days and I'm trying to decide between Harrahs (again) or Paris.

I have a full comp at either (due to playing at the Harrahs in Kansas City). I stayed at Harrahs in April but I thought that Paris might be a nice change since I've never stayed on that part of the strip. I'm a table game (carnival type) player and Paris also has the games I enjoy.

Any recent vists with opinions towards one or the other?

Thank you,

Ann
I like Paris a lot more than Harrahs.
Paris...hands down
Having stayed at both numerous times, I also vote for Paris.

Harrahs is a very old Holiday Inn. Paris is much newer and sexy.
Better restaurants at Paris.
Sounds like a no brainer for Paris.

I had a good room & view at Harrahs in April but it was just so old & worn. (If you all ever come to the Kansas City Harrahs, the rooms in the Las Vegas tower are VERY nice.)

Thank you for the info - any advice on room type or locations?

Ann
Try to get a "P" room. they are corner rooms with windows on 2 walls.

The 24th or so floor and up are the "red rooms" and were updated with flat screens, new carpet & bedding, etc about 5-6 years ago

I totally agree with that! A corner room in either of the front wings will give you a great view of the Bellagio fountains.
