Parking SSTT For 10 Days

I read/heard that one can park their car at the SSTT for a period of up to 2 weeks and catch bus to Airport. Anyone have any info concering this?

Can't you just park at the Mandalay Bay garage? I only rented a car once in Vegas but I don't recall them asking me if I had a car.
