Patriot act coming to an end?

chilly is quick to point out every time a white guy goes over the edge but is nowhere to be heard on the more common islamist attacks such as when the islamists are launching their recent attack in Texas, getting killed while being arrested in Boston, 2 arrests in NYC last week & the attack on a Dallas police station (the attack which CNN described as courageous)
I reject your statement that "islamist attacks" are "more common". That's just something you made up, because you want it to be true. It's what you do.

We need to be diligent against CRIME, without regard to the race or religion of the person who commits CRIME.

Singling out one religion's adherents for harsher government treatment, which people like jatki99 advocate, is about as un-American a thing we could do.

But then I'm a Patriot.
4 attacks & arrests in the last month vs. one. Considering that Muslims are such a small part of the population, their rate per thousand is very high.

That guy was white, Christian and mad because he lost a child custody battle...and he didn't actually kill anyone. I think he's squarely in the 'Angry White Dude' category.

Oh man, I'd love to see where these numbers come from. But I know he just made them up.

More on Dylann Storm Roof:

Dalton Tyler told ABC News that he'd known Dylann Storm Roof for about seven months to a year. Tyler told the news outlet that he last saw Roof about a week ago and knew he'd been planning something like the Charleston church attack "for six months."

“He was big into segregation and other stuff,” Tyler told ABC News. “He said he wanted to start a civil war. He said he was going to do something like that and then kill himself.”

Another successful, domestic, non-Muslim, right-wing terrorist. Sec'y Napolitano was right.

You don't understand. It works better for hoops2's narrative for the guy to be Muslim.

hoops2's mind needs James Boulware to be Muslim. And so, voila, to hoops2 he's Muslim!
Killing people for their religion and especially in a church is incredibly evil - whether it be an ISIS beheading in the Middle East or a white supremacist in South Carolina.

Can we agree on that?

Now it would be interesting to see what meds this guys was taking and compare that to the Sandy Hook killer and other mass murders. Maybe the dots to connect are the medicine and not the guns?

Stochastic Terrorism:
1. The use of mass communication to incite random actors to carry out violent or terrorist acts that are statistically predictable but individually unpredictable. 2. Remote-control murder by lone wolf.

al quaeda has uploaded videos to the internet to inspired crazed lone wolves across the globe. But in America, the lone wolves get inspired mostly by cable TV and talk radio.

Absolutely.

Last night's killings, however, seem to have been motivated by race. Roof's statements, above, indicate he was trying to kill African Americans for "raping our women" (an old white supremacist standard) and "taking over our country."

We'll be a lot more successful in fighting terrorists when we realize that most people of every faith abhor terrorism and would come together to fight it if we could avoid being distracted by our religious differences.
Chilly isn't paying attention. Boner alert!
