Have people really become that thin-skinned that superhero tees have become such a bastion of gender inequities?
Take this t-shirt

"Blogger PJ Curtis discovered a t-shirt in the junior’s section of Walmart that reads, “Training to be Batman’s wife,” in purple lettering with a pink Batman logo. “The idea that you should settle for being married to or sleeping with someone awesome instead of being the awesome person is insulting,” "
HUH? Seriously? What if someone only wants to be batmans wife and leave all that messy crime fighting to batman....NOW, what if a guy or some little boy wanted to wear this shirt for the reason I just stated. I'm sure all hell would break loose for his right to want one of these shirts. Am I right?
Moving on to this t-shirt

"..shows Superman holding Wonder Woman in his arms with the caption, “Score! Superman does it again!” " Well that's all it says and I don't know what's wrong with it, just because superman and wonder woman are hooking up, is it because it's a heterosexual relationship? I don't know why this ones included in the article. It's two consenting superheroes, right?
And then there're these

"Similarly, at a Target store in Canada, a shopper spotted a pair of onesies that have received backlash on social media. The outfit reads: “Future Man of Steel,” while the girl’s option states: “I Only Date Heroes.”"
I guess on the surface I can see why the PC crowd gets all uptight over but really, only boys can become teh "man of steel" and personally if I had a little girl I would absolutely love it if she started dating the man of steel, he;s honest, never tells a lie and would kick anybodys ass who ever tried to harm her. If I didn't want her dating a superhero, I wouldn't select that particular evening wear, plain and simple. What's wrong with this?
"DC isn’t alone when it comes to producing chauvinistic apparel. Last year, an “Avengers” shirt for boys declared, ”Be A Hero,” while the shirt for girls said, ”I Need A Hero.” And superhero consumer products for women aren’t the only ones to belittle women. In 2011, JCPenny pulled a shirt from shelves that read, “I’m too pretty to do homework so my brother has to do it for me..."
Ahh, and this paragraph is completely correct because the tee is completely wrong because everybody knows girl are smarter than boys, there's no way the brother would be doing her homework, he's not that bright,he has a penis!
People have an overactive imagination of what's really offensive and what isn't, much panty ado over nothing.
