Pence? What an awful choice.

I was hoping for Kim Kardashian.
How did he do that?

Pence has kept Indiana spending increases below the inflation rate. That is unusual in today's world, and certainly not a selling point for liberals. I understand why you guys don't like him.
He also kept private sector wages down below the rate of inflation. Of course, I realize that is a selling point for conservatives.

Give credit where it is do. I believe Indiana by law cannot run a budget deficit.
Eep! Thought this was going to be about the All Star Game.

Indianapolis nearly lost a massive Expansion of Salesforce.com jobs because of Pence's bigotry. But that would largely be overshadowed by the much bogger bigot at the top of the ticket. So maybe no big deal.
liberals believe that people who disagree with them are either stupid or bigots, but yet claim to be open minded
Hoops believes discriminating against people is synonymous with "disagreeing with liberals". And there may very well be Trump VP pick that is on that same ship. Good for both of you.

Most states have balance their budget based on their constitution. There are some different variations state by state, i.e. the governor must present a balanced budget or the legislature must approve a balanced budget.

But yeah, to give Pence credit for the leadership to balance Indiana's budget is laughable. And it might even be embarrassing to him.
Another bizarre Pence fact, his Lieutenant Governor recently quit under mysterious circumstances. She was a rising star in the Republican Party. She is from the next small town over from me, and her family and friends say they had a disagreement over Pence's right to discriminate against gays law.
I vote for CHUMLEE for president. Maybe Ted Nugent.
The lesser of 4 evil people that are too much!
Be afraid.
