Pet Peaves

I'll get rid of one off the top: political threads.

My favorite pet peeve is people who leave their phone messages with a phone number that they fly through faster than any human can write down without replaying the message at least twice. PEOPLE, please repeat your call back number SLOWLY and at least twice. And don't tell me to look at caller ID because it doesn't always work.

This one is related to wrosie's first mentioned pet peeve: Internet trolls. You know who you are...

My pet peeve is total strangers who want to start long-winded conversations while we all happen to be in one place, such as a long line or on a plane/bus ride or while gambling at a casino. I certainly don't mind a few exchanges or meeting new people in a social setting. But as an introvert I find it disconcerting when someone I've never met before starts telling their life story while I am ordering pizza or trying to remember when I should go for a straight flush.
