Bob is correct, the FBI is not the Republicans. In fact, the Republicans don't have the power to stop this investigation. Apparently the FBI is also investigating illegal money laundering activities within the Clinton foundation. They have also extradited a Romanian man who claims to have easily hacked Hillary's server. He also claims that other have also hacked her account.

I highly doubt anybody "drops it". Not until the FBI does anyway, no way in hell and maybe beyond, doubtful but maybe.
I wonder what would happen if a newly elected pres. got indicted? Would the VP act as a sitting pres. until the trial was over?

Hillary and the Justice Department have done everything possible to obstruct this investigation............including deleting 30,000 emails. Now, PJ wants to reward these illegal activities, arguing that this had been going on too long.

Moral of the story, lie and obstruct justice, and PJ wants to hand you a medal.

The general consensus is that a sitting president cannot be indicted. The soul remedy is impeachment.
