Plaza reopened today (with pics, and special Nesalk bonus)

The Plaza reopened today...I stopped by there mid-day and took a few pics. Saw some 9/5 JOB and 7/5 Bonus poker by the entrance. Most of the VP machines on the floor were still out of service. A lot of machines on the south side didn't yet have chairs, and construction workers and slot techs were on the floor still installing things. Also took pics of the second floor, but it's now running late.

I stuck $10 into a .25 Wheel of Fortune machine, and got a "wheel spin" on the 4th spin, winning $25. Cashed out and went to lunch.

The front of the building has been cleaned up, the lights that run up the front fixed, and at least some has been repainted.





The lobby has been very nicely redone with the formerly Fontainebleu materials:

are "all" rooms being remodeled as well? Larger bathrooms?

Those look like the old esclators. Are you sure they didn't get new elevators?

No idea...I had thought about renting a room for the night at $35 just to see, but they wanted a 2 night minimum and I wasn't that motivated to do so.

I thought I had taken more pics than what's above, including one of the table games area, but maybe it didn't take. Most of the bars are still under construction (yesterday was a soft opening, and they're still working on a lot of it). Didn't check limits or rules on BJ - if I get a chance, maybe I'll run over there again today, but I've got a pretty full schedule.
