the reason you don't see sharpton/jackson/obama doing anything about the black on black killings is that they have an easier time riling up the black masses over a "white" on black killing. black on black killings is the norm in america, hard to rile up the black masses since their relatives are the ones doing the killings. Kidding, kidding.
Just joking but the reason we have racial stereotyping is because of the bad reputation that blacks have. Obama made a comment about women clutching their bags when he passed in Hawaii or people on edge whenever he walked by, but the problem is that 35 years ago there weren't that many blacks in hawaii so people heard from the stories about blacks and so were on edge. Obama was nothing like Trayvon, Obama went to one of the best private schools in Hawaii, his comment is like a harvard grad saying that he was like Trayvon. Obama wasn't a trouble maker, never got suspended for criminal activities. No gold teeth or gangsta tats. He wasn't a thug. Even though Obama said no violence his comments did nothing more but inflame the situation and cause more of a racial divide in America, it will take decades before the "white" people trust another black man to be president IMHO.
I was in DC in May, hate to say it but in the subway when I saw suspicious blacks I would move away, I would cross the street when I encountered them even in San francisco. There is a valid reason for the racial stereotyping, people do not trust blacks, are afraid of them, don't want to be mugged or killed by them. they hear of blacks killing blacks every day in many cities in america. If the blacks want to stop the racial profiling then they should clean up their act, the black community should be up in arms trying to stop the black violence. It almost seems like a joke to them, many of their parents were the ones committing crimes and now their kids are doing the same, that it is acceptable for the black man to commit crimes using the lame excuse of their oppression.
Only when they police themselves will the rest of america stop profiling the black man and get rid of their fears towards the black man. I have a friend who is black and he agrees with me, hard to get over your prejudices when a lot of it was warranted.
In response to cootie's response on the martin case, it was only because a white man wasn't charged for killing a black man, that the blacks wanted the white man to pay even if he wasn't guilty of doing anything more than defending himself. I think we all agree if it were a black on black or a white on white killing it wouldn't have even been more than a couple inch post in the newspaper and forgotten in a day. As with the verdict of the case the prosecutors at the time didn't feel there was sufficient evidence to charge Zimm but the racist blacks and cootie wanted to make it a white on black issue and like cootie made up their own "proof" blaming the white guy for killing the poor defenseless innocent (angelic) black kid. what a joke and we all know that.
