DonDiego pledges to initiate no new political posts until after New Years Day - 2015.

He will refrain from posting to any current political posts or to political posts by others between now and 2 January, . . . with the possible exception of correction to a posted clear and certain factual error.
[This is an experiment to determine if DonDiego can survive such a deprivation.]

Posts addressing weather and women and beer/liquor remain the staples of poor old DonDiego as with all of humanity. He may also post the common pussycat photos and photos of individuals doing stupid stuff, as generally associated with the internets, as he chooses.

If he comes across anything of interest concerning gambling, Las Vegas, or other gaming venues he may post that as well.

Good on DD, I wish the others that share his political beliefs would do the same as they seem to be the biggest offenders of the political threads...... and hopefully those on the opposite end of the political spectrum will do the same. There are so many other places to discuss political hackery, this place is for Vegas topics as we all love Vegas regardless of political hue.

I made the same pledge 4 years ago with the same general caveat that DonDIego cites:

You might note that I still post on other people's threads quite a bit. That's because The caveat manifests itself in almost every "political" thread. It might be worthwhile to remove the caveat.
