Possible Islamist Terror Attack in Munich

Perhaps the official investigators of the incident need to just sit back, relax, and take a stress pill. Maybe then they can see the attack through the same Muslim-Helter-Skelter glasses that DonDiego owns. But in the meantime they've reached a very different conclusion about the attack and its motivation.

Reuters: Gunman had no apparent ties or inspiration from Islamic Terror groups

...in fact....quite the opposite according to the Munich Police who show obvious ties to the right-wing terror attack in Oslo 5 years ago.

"He [the shooter] was very much into the theme of killing sprees, therefore being well aware of the Utoya attack. The link is obvious," Bavarian police chief Andrae told reporters, in answer to a question on whether there was a connection between the Munich mall shooting and Utoya tragedy, which took place exactly five years ago to the day."

What a pisser - I guess Hillary might have used the correct language after all.

Hew-Ess-Aay baby.
Trump is on the way.
Only he can stop this. And soon, very soon.
Where does this kinda nonsense come from ? ? ?

For the record DonDiego does not recommend dropping bombs in Syria for this Islamist terror event. DonDiego supposes the USA support of the "rebels" in Syria is misplaced anyway.
[There've been several altercations in/around Europe lately in which DonDiego is unsure if the US has been on the right side; sometimes it seems the US picks whichever side opposes Russia. DonDiego opines Russia is not the Big Problem.]

That the "kid born in Germany" yelled "Allahu Akbar" suggests he is/was a Muslim motivated by "anti-everyone-else" religious zeal. Apparently he is/was an 18-year-old German with Iranian citizenship. DonDiego opposes such actors and their likely violence.

DonDiego supposes if/when the US increases the number of Muslim immigrants permitted to enter the Country, the likelihood of Muslim terror events within the US will rise. DonDiego opposes an increase in terrorism in the US.

[Poor old DonDiego has a question. Some folks, even some folks here on LVA, express disdain for Christians, . . . especially very-Christian Christians, . . . because of their beliefs in religious nonsense. Why are some of those same folks not opposed to Muslims, . . . especially very-Muslim Muslims, . . . for their belief in religious nonsense, especially religious nonsense aimed at killing all non-Muslims? Why do some of these folks support a Presidential candidate who is calling for a 550% increase in Syrian immigrants to the US? ]

Yes, ISIS could have inspired him. You know, like what Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, and various Republican members of Congress do when they inspire sovereign staters, Christianists, and Bundy supporters to murder cops, abortion doctors, and nice people praying in church.

For the record DonDiego opposes "sovereign staters, Christianists, and Bundy supporters" who murders police, abortion doctors, and people praying in church. He does not find this position contrary to opposing Muslims who murder those who do not share their religious fervor.

He does not favor increasing immigration from any population likely to harbor significant numbers of such persons.

I have an answer. No one expressed disdain for Christians, or even for very Christian Christians. It was "Christianists."

Both Islamists and Christianist are morally repugnant extremely conservative theological literalists who, worst of all, try to foist and even force their own beliefs on others. They tend to believe in theocracy, government funding for their own religion, and the right to control the behavior, sexual practices and sexual orientation of others. For those that do not comply they believe in righteous punishment. They both tend to have a thing for war. Both have been know to engage in terrorism.

Of course when Christianists point accusatory fingers at Islamists, four fingers are pointing at themselves.

But compounding the evil of the Christianists are the many people who, understanding that it is religious nonsense, believe in allying themselves with the Christianists out of political convenience. You know, a little religious bigotry in exchange for a lower capital gains tax rate and such. Sound like anyone you know, DonDiego?

The same woman who claimed he yelled Allah Akbar also claimed he was shooting young children in the head. As the youngest victim was 14, I don't put much faith in what she says she saw.

14 is still a child. If you want to parse out what "young' means, you're on your own. What, is 14 an old child? Maybe the woman was a little upset? If she just said "child" instead of "young child" you'd believe what she had to say?
I'm sure the woman was very upset. That's why I'm discounting anything she thinks she might have seen or heard. In the parking garage, in his own words he proclaims he is a German and insults the " Turks" who are coming to his country. The German police and intelligence services aren't saying it was Islamic terrorism.
When the Egyptian plane went down two months ago, Trump and the right wing radio hosts were calling that terrorism, too.
Sometimes, one simply beats one's head against the wall in astonishment of it all.
Neither of the major party presidential nominees jumped to conclusions or reacted stupidly to this.

That's an improvement for one of them.

It's too early to tell, but this could be a case of "Stochastic Terrorism" which is defined as:

1. The use of mass communication to incite random actors to carry out violent or terrorist acts that are statistically predictable but individually unpredictable. 2. Remote-control murder by lone wolf.

Yes, ISIS could have inspired him. You know, like what Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, and various Republican members of Congress do when they inspire sovereign staters, Christianists, and Bundy supporters to murder cops, abortion doctors, and nice people praying in church.
Funny how it's so easy for you to single out Rush Limbaugh, Fox News and Various Republican members of Congress for some murders...but don't blame President Obama, Black Lives Matter and the Mainstream Media for inciting 'random actors' to carry out violent or terrorist acts against the Police in Dallas and Baton Rouge. "What do we want?" "Dead Cops" "When do we want them?" "Now". "Pigs in a blanket. Fry 'em like bacon'.

I guess maybe Cleveland Police Union Boss Steve Loomis was referring to your crackpot theory when he said this about President Obama:

"It’s false narrative and people politicizing the false narrative that we have a President of the United States and the governor of Minnesota making a statement less than one day after the police involved shootings.

Those police involved shootings are what absolutely has triggered in rash of senseless murders of law enforcement officers across the country. It is reprehensible.

The president has blood on his hands and it will not be able to come washed off..."
