The back up generators DID work at Paris for the lights but not the machines/elevators.
The security guard at Bally's said that the generators did not work there and that the reason was unknown.
Now that I have thought about it, drinks, other than beer or something straight up would require electricity for the "guns" that dispense the mixers.

Do those guns need electricity? I'm thinking they're part of a pressurized system with a CO2 tank.
