Powerball Jackpot

No one won the Jackpot so Wednesday's drawing is for 425 million. Cash option 278.3 million before taxes.

USA MEGA provides estimates of State Income Tax costs as well, for the annuity or the cash options. New Jersey, New York, and Washington DC have the highest tax; California doesn't offer PowerBall, but if a Californicator were to win he'd be within the top taxed group too.

Yesterday DonDiego took a chance that nobody would win, and didn't purchase any PowerBall Tickets. It paid off ! Now DonDiego can buy twice as many this week. DonDiego expects there will be a winner this Wednesday.

the winning tix needs to come from Nebraska. I don't think we have had a winner since 06', won the largest ever powerball jackpot.
Hopefully the "pecker" can some how, some way, have the winning combination this wednesday!

Personally, I'm hoping the ticket is drawn in Washington State! That's where we bought ours, and we"ll just bring the winnings back here to Canada to enjoy!
