Prescription drug without the Rx?

Ambien and alcohol are an explosive mix.
I was pretty well lit from drinking one night in Vegas and a friend had given me a couple of Ambien in case I couldn't sleep. I took one as I was restless because i was drinking K=1 & Red Bull (imagine that? I couldn't sleep..lol).
I woke up in a drug/alcohol induced daze and didn't recognize anything around me and so I called 911 (from the hotel phone) and told them I had been kidnapped. I fell back asleep to hotel security and Vegas Metro beating on my door.

Yes sleeping pills are addictive but how often do you go to Vegas ? Ask the Dr if he can prescribe you a pill for each night of your trip. Have another go at him and be specific about how many pills you want and how often you want them. I bet he says yes.

I could tell you stories of people who get this stuff at night in the hospital. If at best I refuse to give it, I have seen people flip out to sleep walk and have no idea they were doing it.

Try benadryl. It really works and is not habit forming.

If Vegas isn't tiring you out you're not doing it right.

I've never had a problem sleeping in Vegas. I actually sleep better in Vegas than at home. The beds they have at the Orleans are great and I always wake up refreshed there after a good nights sleep. Also helps that I dont have to get up at the crack of dawn to go to work like at home, I can sleep in when at Vegas.

Normally i hardly ever sleep more than 4-6 hrs at a time,been that way my entire adult life. In vegas its usually about the same and i dont really want to sleep any more than that especially because i like to get up early in the morn and do most of my serious gambling. I prefer it because its so much less crowded and seems a little more personal. I do remember the beds i could sleep forever on were at polo towers on our last trip. They had the the absolute hands down most comfortable pillows i've ever put my head on.

As far as sleeping pills,i have taken benedryl on a few occasions to help me sleep,but nothing more than that. I remember a room mate in college used to take a couple shots of nyquil,coupla beers and few pulls off a joint before bedtime ,although i'm definitely not recommending this,but it sure worked for him LOL.

I sleep no more than 3 hours while in Vegas. I wake up ready to go with no problems.

I usually horde pain meds. When I can't sleep a half of a vicodin works great.

You still slammin those redbulls?
