Prince has died

What a bizarre year for the music industry. Here is another one where I wonder if he did a lot of cocaine during the 80s. Love or hate him, he was probably one of the 10 best guitarists in the world.

I've never heard of Prince using drugs. He was always very spiritual and become a Jehovah's Witness years ago.
One of my favorite performers of the 80s, I saw him a few years ago at his Residency at The Rio and he seemingly hadn't aged.
I'l never forget the first time I heard Little Red Corvette. That and When Doves Cry.
Rest in Peace.
Sad. Purple Rain is one of the best songs ever. He will be missed.
Great songs from my youth. Little Red Corvette, When Doves Cry, 1999, Raspberry Beret, Purple Rain and of course who could forget Darling Nikki. I knew I was old when 1999 came.

I knew a girl named Nikki
I guess you could say she was a sex fiend
I met her in a hotel lobby
Masturbating with a magazine...

Greatest Halftime Performance of any Super Bowl ever.
It was pouring rain in Miami and to think the network almost canceled the show out of safety concerns

I'll have to disagree with you on that one. The greatest halftime ever was U2 at the Super Dome in early 2002, when they honored the victims of 9/11. No lip-synching or dancing bullshit.

Ahh, . . . the memories, . . . Dinah Shore and Tennessee Ernie Ford.

Prince was a dude who looked like a chick, while Chyna was a chick who looked like a dude
One of the funnier skits on the Chappelle show.

Charlie Murphy plays prince in a game of B-Ball
Some of the better known musicians/singers who have passed away this year (there are others, but not as famous):

David Bowie
Glenn Frey
Prince
Frank Sinatra Jr.
Maurice White (Earth, Wind & Fire)
Paul Kanter (Jefferson Airplane/Starship)
Merle Haggard
