Purdue covers the spread!

While in Vegas two weeks ago, I bet zero football games. Yesterday, a bunch of college friends and I attended the Purdue vs Notre Dame football game in Indianapolis, and six of us pooled our money and placed a bet.

Purdue lost, but we won our bet. Since we were fully expecting to get throttled by ND, winning the bet took away the tiny bit of sting.

Purdue seems to always play Notre Dame tough . And Purdue had a lot to prove after getting beat last week by that MAC " powerhouse" Central Michigan .

DonDiego enjoyed his visit to Indianapolis last year to watch the Titans play the Colts; he got "good vibrations" from the downtown area. Umm, . . . with whom does one place a significant bet in Indianapolis?

A Chicago buddy placed our bet with his bookie.
