Purdue University fights for free speech on campus

Free speech is a right for ALL Americans -- but some free speech is NOT intelligent:

Pastafarian wins the religious right to wear spaghetti colander in state ID picture
way to go Mitch!! I liked him as a governor, of course you can never agree 100% of the time with elected officials, but overall I like his simple, down to earth, no-nonsense style. the federal government leaders could learn a lesson or two from him. he did not mind cutting government waste and spending. he IS a good man.
Hmmm, what type of school would I (honestly) want my kids to attend? A campus where free speech is limited, where all kids are "guaranteed" to not get their feelings hurt(the world can be a tough place, it does no one any good to pretend otherwise). Or,

A place where free speech is encouraged, even if it stings little and prepares my kids for life in the real world. The world isn't made up rainbows and lollipops. A place where kids are taught and encouraged to toughren up and deal with actuall problem solving than run to the campus speech cops everytime someones get their wittle feewings hurt a little.

And of course dealing with actual threats of violence is completely different than free speech.
Go Boilermakers!

Then Dont send your kids to Purdue.

And We've already seen how foul language hurts your feelings. So I guess the key is to find a school that ignores racial slurs and punishes f-bombs

The Mizzou administration should have told those 20 football players to have a nice day, enjoy your Saturday off as you take a default loss to the other team. For those of you who are attending Mizzou on a football scholarship, we will be examining your status in terms of your athletic non-participation.

Brats! We used to say "The inmates are running the asylum."

Now the brats are extorting institutions of higher learning.
The most Liberal Indiana college campuses have "free speech zones", which are small, out of the way places where folks can speak freely. Purdue allows free speech everywhere.

It is only recently that Mitch Daniels began bring more sanity to Purdue University. Indiana University is a Liberal cesspool where only Liberals views are allowed to be spoken. All dissenting views are shut down.

When in the hell did I ever let any foul language get to me? I probably cuss more than any other person on here. Or are you referring to the mouthy little thugs in the Trump video still. First you say the LVA'ers don't want anything like that published and that was w/o any merit whatsoever, now you want to switch gears again and say feelings were hurt over some mouthy little brats? Get a grip and try and figurte out what exactly you are trying to say concerning how other people "feel". Pretty F'n comical!

And my kids would be way better prepared for real life than going to any Butthurt U. People can be assholes, if you can't learn to distance yourself from the jerks in college, and brush it off it'll never happen in real life.
Seemed pretty funny. Sometimes material just presents itself.
