I thought the answers were really surprising. Not a ton of "fine diners" there by any means, mostly value oriented responses. I thought there would've been a lot more high end people there.

Us? we're pretty much value as well, will pay for something we want, but no way spend 200 bucks on a meal. We're not huge coupon peole but if we have one and we want to eat there, sure are going to use it. Free is even better, tho don't get many of those those. There are some places we want to try that will be a few bucks, but i'll say we'll avg about 50 bucks a day, maybe tad more, but not much. The list of places i have in my notes is a mile long, cheapo to pricey,we'll see what happens.

Just curious how some of you guys answered. I know DD's splurge is buying a blizzard for teechur

We hardly ever go anywhere out to eat without a 2 for 1. We cook at home alot though.
We always look for value for the $$, a coupon, or some other enticement to dine somewhere.

One exception is the Sterling Brunch, which is a once a year treat for us and paid for with reward credits.

We also tried the Cosmo's Wicked Spoon for brunch on a Monday and we would go back. I don't know if it was the novelty or the quality or a little of both, but we liked it and paid cash.

I look for coupons on Restaurant.com and in the LVA book. I always ask for coupons when we check in at Paris. That can influence our choices. Plus, we always go for ribs at Ellis Island, too.

Since we have reward credits at CET, we tend to patronize their restaurants more. Normally we have one more expensive meal per trip.

We have let go of the desire to splurge on gourmet meals in Las Vegas.

Mainly because for the most part expectation far exceeds the realization.

Perhaps management senses they have two southern hicks from the sticks and seizes the opportunity to use up whatever is destined for the dumpster that night.

(Remember on Sopranos, Artie barks out to the wait staff "Push the [xxxxxx]." Then says where only Charlene can hear "The vendor said they won't last after ten tomorrow morning." Or something like that.)

My wife and I had the opportunity to see and get Bobby Flay's autograph at Caesar's this past weekend and decided to eat at his restaurant Mesa Grill. We were not to impressed, the $47 Rib Eye and the Salmon was great, but the signature side dishes sucked. The place was packed with people but we don't have a need to go back nor would we recommend it to anyone! The meal was paid for with rewards points, but even still I will seek another place for a steak!
I'm part of the value crowd. I go to Vegas as an inexpensive vacation. Cheap rooms, meals, and entertainment. Now I don't mind spending $25 on a Bellagio Buffet as I see good value for my money, but 3x $2 shrimp cocktails (with BOGO) at Golden Gate is my idea breakfast.

I'm not surprised at the results as LVA attracts the value crowd. I don't think the Picasso clientele comes here looking for coupons.
