A question For you Paula Dean haters.

She admitted to using the N-word many years ago and is being treated like Hitler, and yet Chris Brown beat the hell out of a woman and is winning awards, is performing on almost all of the award shows.....etc.
So my question to y'all (sorry couldn't resist). Is saying the N-word many years ago worse than beating the hell out of a defenseless woman and showing little remorse? This is what I am seeing from average person and the media, whom controls the mind of the average person. Just curious.
Amen !
what newspappers, magazines, late night comedians are you referencing that are portraying Chris Brown as Mr Nice Guy?
Chris Brown still finds work....so does Mel Gibson, Tiger Woods, Kobe Bryant, and Martha Stewart...and so will Paula D. I'm sure I'll download more of Paula's recipes going forward....and I still enjoy watching Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.
thats not an act of forgiveness for their ignorant remarks. Thats just me enjoying good cobbler and action films
I am bothered by Chris Brown and Paula Deen, but I won't stop using butter in my recipes.

I agree that Chris Brown beating Rhianna is worse than using the N word many years ago, however, it's not many years ago. And there's more to the story than just calling a bank robber the N word.

Deen is also accused of sexual harassment, and was found in contempt of court for refusing to turn over a video in which she allegedly simulates a sex act on a chocolate eclair.

Deen is being sued for $1.2 million by Lisa Jackson, who managed Uncle Bubba’s Oyster House in Savannah, Ga., for Paula Deen Enterprises. Jackson also alleges that Deen wanted to hire African-Americans to dress up in costumes and work at her brother’s wedding.

“What I would really like is a bunch of little [N-word] to wear long-sleeve white shirts, black shorts and black bow ties. Now that would be a true Southern wedding, wouldn’t it?,” Deen allegedly said, according to Jackson.

For the record, I'd like to the video involving the eclair.

Yeah, I love the logic of yesterday's and today's threads along the lines of what Idi Amin did was nothing compared to Hitler. Lol

If these folks are providing her legal defense in the court of public opinion, I would say she is doomed to a life sentence.

So you're sayin' that Paula Deen is really Idi Amin? By George, I think I can see it.
Lol no. Exaggeration to make a point about logic. Zero in on someone worse to defend actions of person you support. For the record, Chris Brown is no Hitler, nor Jack Kennedy either.

I sure hope the missing word here is "see" and not "reenact"
